The DeNova Detect CR17450E-R is a 2-cell replacement battery designed for the DeNova Detect ML-310ES natural gas alarm. Use this replacement battery to replace the existing battery in compatible ML-310ES alarms when battery replacement is required. Verify the model number of your alarm before ordering to ensure proper compatibility.

1. Open the battery compartment. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the DeNova Detect ML-310ES Gas Alarm. Place both thumbs on the area of the cover where the battery cover hooks snap into place.
2. Remove the battery cover. Push down firmly where the cover snaps into place while sliding the cover out. Some force may be required.
3. Connect the replacement battery. Insert the lithium battery harness connector into the Gas Alarm receptacle. Do not remove the plastic wrap surrounding the battery pack.
4. Check the connector orientation. The battery connector has a large notch that should face upward when installed correctly. The connector is designed to fit in only one orientation.
5. Confirm the connection. When the battery connector is installed properly, a small portion of the connector will remain visible outside of the receptacle.
